"The bathtub did not drain well. I reported it to maintenance for repair. The hallway carpet was dirty. Otherwise, the facility was great."

"Overall the place was fabulous. Very clean and organized. Screens could use some attention. We suggest that you let people know that there is no living room and that the door is on the second floor. Otherwise the place is outstanding, Beautiful views.Would recommend to friends."

"The hotel was very quaint and comfortable. It is in a quiet area and right on Henderson Bay on Lake Ontario. The water view was beautiful. The surprise was having a bonfire right at the water's edge. The staff was also awesome."

"The interior has been updated but some details have been missed. The pool was the main attraction for us. It was tough to find an outlet that held a cord. The cost of the rental was definitely for the pool. Of course not required but would have been nice to have a hair dryer and more kitchen items included, kitchen supplies weren't enough for a big crowd. We did find that out of the few eat out options Lakeside restaurant was our favorite. Overall we had a great time and with a few minor changes this could be a great vacation spot for big families. One thing to note is that the pool only has ladders and no steps."

"Stayed for a week with my wife, adult sons and their wives/gf’s and dogs. House is beautiful and great access to the water. Very relaxing to sit by the campfire at night. Host was very accommodating and easy to contact. Listing is as described. The water is the only real negative, pretty significant sulfer smell. You can’t drink the water and it was tough to even shower. That said Helena is up front about this and left us plenty of water to drink and do the dishes. No issues with neighbors or kids running in the yard as others described in thier reviews, it was very peaceful setting, in fact on 2 mornings we had deer in the yard. The road is very quiet to walk your pets. The deck is huge and a great place to have your meals. Didn’t feel not having AC impacted our stay at all as there were plenty of fans and the breeze cooled the house down at night, I defintely would stay again!"
