"Jason is a great host! Beautiful home. Very easy to communicate with. We all enjoyed our stay, we had 8 young kids with us and they all loved the bunk room! The house is split up nicely for a multiple family stay! Would definitely recommend for large families!"

"This home and location are amazing. When you drive up the 7 switchbacks you get to see the beautiful trees and forest you are in. This home sits on the top of the mountain and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. The back deck gives you a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The pictures of the inside of the cabin do not do it justice. The open concept with the wood interior definitely makes you feel like a home in the mountains. We were there with 6 adults and our 5 grandkids. They want to move there. The layout give multiple families private areas. The small incidental like toys for the kids, a play pen, high chair and there is even a running stroller and adult bikes in the garage make it even better. The hot tub is very nice. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare any food you want. There is even crock pots available. The gas grill is definitely an added bonus. Overall we would give this home a 10 rating and will definitely be booking this home again for our next family vacation in the Blackhills."

"We enjoyed a peaceful long weekend here in mid-July. Everything was as described/shown in the listing. The only slight downside is that the only a/c unit is on top floor of cabin (kitchen, living room) and the nights didn’t cool down enough to open windows to cool the bedrooms (on first floor). But there were nice fans provided in each room so although it was warmer than we prefer, it was still ok for sleeping."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great stay, we loved the Powder House Pass area and we would definitely stay in that area again but we would probably pick a different house. This one was beautiful, but there were a few things we would change. First, the house had a bunch of large flies that we kept killing but they were everywhere. Second, the kitchen was gorgeous but didn’t have much for supplies (just had the basic pots, pans and dishes) so make sure to bring spices, containers, etc. Third, the blinds in the bedrooms didn’t get them quite dark, especially the master had large windows with no coverings and it gets bright pretty early in the summer."
