"Hotel was just ok nothing special. Bed comfortable but right beside the road and very noisy.
Staff did not speak English but tried very very hard to communicate. Rate desk staff as excellent.
Poor amenities Bathroom floor very muddy and sink barely flowed. Shower ok but floor dirty. "

"The staff is wonderful. The resort is beautiful. Our favorite place to relax was at the saltwater pool. The food in the restaurant was excellent - they received a James Beard award in 2024z. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The resort is quiet, very quiet. Walk to the beach, walk to downtown shops and restaurant. Or, you can do what we did - mostly we soaked up the unbelievable ocean views visible throughout the resort, and lounged. We spent a lot of time sunning and relaxing. Can hardly wait until our next visit!"

"It is in the heart of Playa Madera. A walk off property for access to the beach and boardwalk to coffe shops, restaurants, massage , tourist points of interest. "

We had a wonderful stay at Villas del Vigia. Liceth was so pleasant and very helpful making dinner and cab reservations, as well as quickly attending to questions about the condo and surrounding area. The view from the condo and pool is breathtaking. Million $$$ view. Very spacious and well furnished condo. Nice 30 mins down hill walk to the beach and restaurants. 150 Pesos cab ride back. If you're looking for a quiet, well appointed place to stay, Villas del Vigia is the place. Can't wait to come back. "
