"It was all perfect, except what may have been a smoke alarm. It was located on the ceiling very close to the sleeper sofa and I had that blue light shining in my face all night."

"The location is wonderful although reaching the beach is tough for elderly or infirm. The location with Georgie's restaurant next door is a big plus. I found the TV operating instructions were confusing although staff came and go it running."

"Everything about the Allred hotel is really nice. The staff was friendly, accommodating. The hotel was clean, well appointed, excellent beach views. The rooms are large and the bed very comfortable. I loved the location of the hotel."

"The room was clean next line. The beach view was perfect except there was seagull poop all over the window. We requested another room and we were able to move and the window was fairly clean. So we got a good view of the ocean. This was the fourth story so hard to keep windows up that high clean, I guess."

"Terrific location and bedroom layout for our group of 7. Everyone had quiet sleeping space, plenty of bathrooms. Except for a grocery run to Fred Meyer we didn't drive for the entirety of our 3 day stay. We walked across the bridge to the aquarium, to the bay front, over to the beach at the state park, etc. Just a terrific location. Furniture in the house is a bit scant, for ex. no dining table. Also the listing photos show a full 2d kitchen, with the written description saying "kitchenette," but when I asked I learned there's only a sink in there -- the stove and fridge were removed. Communication with host was great. We loved Newport, just our speed."
