Nestled in the scenic Tapnell Farm, this charming cabin offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The cabin boasts an open-plan living space designed for comfort and relaxation, featuring a fully equipped kitchen complete with a washing machine, microwave, toaster, and all necessary cooking utensils for convenient self-catering.

With three spacious bedrooms, each furnished with twin beds, the cabin comfortably accommodates families or groups. You'll also find a modern bathroom and a separate toilet room for added convenience.

Step outside onto the private decking area, where you can enjoy al fresco dining with a BBQ and picnic bench, ideal for soaking in the serene farm surroundings.

Located at Tapnell Farm, guests staying can benefit from discounts for lots of on-site activities and ferry travel, enjoy delicious food from our on-site restaurant- The Cow.

Simple chalet in great location

We had a lovely stay at East Chalet. It’s large enough for a family of five or six, and has most amenities you’d need on a short break. All the beds are singles unless you remember to specify otherwise, and they’re small singles - great for kids but on the small side for adults. There are blinds in all the rooms but they leak a lot of light and fall down as they’re balanced on the rails. This would be an easy repair job. We were so impressed by the staff at the farm itself - friendly, helpful and loads of info. But the accommodation staff weren’t incredibly helpful. A few repairs were needed to be done while we were there on things that were broken when we arrived (things are a bit tired in the chalet), but we were told these repairs were our fault. The arrival booklet asks guests to request extras of bin bags if you run out - we did this and were told as it’s self catering it’s not provided but on this occasion they’d let us off. These are small things, but when you’re paying a fair amount of money it’s a tad disappointing. Never usually leave feedback, but thought some small tweaks could make all the difference to the next guest. Things like a toilet-roll holder, more pegs for towels for larger things party sizes and some better cooking equipment (eg a colander, a mixing bowl etc) would make a huge difference too.

Half term stay

We loved our stay for half term, despite the weather, we really enjoyed the farm, all the activities and eating at The Cow onsite. So accessible with free and easy parking; it's what we love about staying at Tapnell Farm as the facilities are second to none. The chalet was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed BUT a bit tired in places and really needs a new lick of paint to brighten it up.
