"Room was very comfortable, very clean. Door handle to the bathroom needs repair or replaced. Housekeeping staff was spectacular, front desk was very dismissive, no personality to be at a front desk of a hotel, doorman or gentleman watching the front area with the front desk staff not very personable either . I have worked customer service for many years along including front desk at a hotel and never have I experienced the lack of friendliness from a staff at a hotel. Housekeeping and maintenance had way better customer care than the lady checking us in. "
"Hotel Belleclaire exceeded my expectations in every way. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable. Communication from the valet was excellent—my car was picked up and delivered right on time, with total ease and great flow. The front desk staff was welcoming, warm, and genuinely friendly, which made check-in a pleasure.
I absolutely loved the room. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and truly felt like New York luxury—stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bar was cozy and inviting, and the mocktails were surprisingly excellent.
Overall, this was a 10/10 stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Belleclaire to anyone visiting NYC and wanting to stay on the Upper West side. "
