The Grand, York

The Queens Hotel & Victoria Cloisters
We chose the hotel for its location and the fact that there was parking. Other than checking in, we had no real interaction with the staff because we booked one of the apartments. Hampton by Hilton York
This property is convenient to the train station, the wall, and walking around the city. Our room was in the basement(!), and it was comfortable. The bathroom was quite narrow and small. Happy hour specials are fantastic, and we enjoyed that. Breakfast was a zoo, but it had all the typical offerings. ...

Middletons Hotel
Room smelt fusty, and was dark, very little natural light. Disappointed I pointed it out to Reception , they couldn;t move me because the Hotel was full and no compensation offered.
