"I had a great stay at the Narrow Gauge Inn! The room was very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view that made mornings especially enjoyable. Parking was super easy, and the location is hard to beat — just about 2 miles from the south entrance of Yosemite, which made accessing the park incredibly convenient.
One of the highlights is the nearby train depot and scenic ride, which adds a unique charm to the area. The on-site restaurant has a wonderful historic atmosphere and looks fantastic, though the food itself was just okay.
Overall, a great place to stay if you’re visiting Yosemite — clean, convenient, and full of character. "
"My friend and I (ages 65 & 66) stayed 3 nights and went to Yosemite early each morning. This cabin met all our needs. Fully equipped, clean, comfortable, quiet and close to stores and restaurants. Host was an excellent communicator and quickly answered any questions we had. Parking is a little quirky but as Host suggests, backing in works best. "
"We had a great experience staying in the cabin!It was clean overall, and my daughter and son had a wonderful time—especially enjoying the little entertainment room.The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the bedrooms were clean and warm throughout the night.Two small things that could make the stay even better:•The outdoor tables and chairs on the porch could use a quick cleaning—we would have loved to spend more time out there.•The body wash had run out, so we ended up using shampoo instead.All in all, it’s a very clean and fun cabin to stay in. "Pictures don’t do the space justice! Big living room with plenty of seating. House was very clean & beds/pillows/linens all comfortable. 5 min from Yosemite South Gate without traffic (we left super early and it took 1 hour to get to Yosemite Village). Host is great with communication & let us know about changing Yosemite guidelines and few other items. Highly suggest!"

"Easy entry to south end of Yosemite, being able to do laundry was so nice! The bed was very comfy and we grilled 2 nights. Really enjoyed our 4 nights…The garbage policy was a bit confusing and a couple steak knives would have been appreciated. "
