Tenaya at Yosemite

"Really good property.. really well maintained. Only downside was that the restaurant had some long waits for dinner.. so worth going down earlier to grab a vibrating device. Food and staff were good. Had to ask for tables to be cleaned properly but staff were quick to do that. Arcades were good.. cycling was good.. archery was really good. We don’t get a chance to do the wall climb as they were pretty strict with the timings. Hotel provided guided walks which we didn’t have time to take up, but would have for sure with more time. Rooms were super spacious and super clean. Really happy with the hotel. They had telescopes in the evening to see the stars and moon which was a very nice touch, and kids and adults loved the smores by the fire. Unlimited too. Pools were very nice! The indoor one was nice to get away from the direct heat of the sun, but the outdoor was good for anyone that wanted to top up tans. Really good family geared atmosphere. Was a bit of a drive away from Yosemite.. so if you wanted to see sunset at the parks, it would be a long drive back in the dark (which I wasn’t comfortable doing personally)."

"We recently stayed at Waybound for 3 nights as part of a California road trip. This was the perfect base for visiting Yosemite being only 2 miles from South Gate. This was the best part of our road trip as we really enjoyed the site. The high standard of the cabin, the newly opened clubhouse/grounds and general setting were perfect. Plus the short walk over to the Tenaya Hotel meant we got the benefit of all the additional facilities. It was a shame some of the restaurants in Tenaya were shut but we did visit outside of the US holidays so maybe simply down to number of customers staying not warranting them being open. If we visit Yosemite again we would definitely book again 💯"

"Fabulous stay at Fish Camp. Property sat immediately outside Yosemite’s southern entrance. Property was beautifully maintained with a wonderful layout for family time with my husband and two teenage kids. Beds and linens were fresh and extremely comfortable. Definitely wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for everything!"

"Highest recommendation! House is located IN the park — NO entrance lines! Clean, aesthetic, COMFORTABLE. Very quiet property. Wonderful hot tub. Extremely close to a general store for essentials, and a gas station. Hosts were invaluable in terms of park planning on all fronts (itinerary, logistics, troubleshooting), both in terms of frequent messaging and an amazing park guide that went with us EVERYWHERE. Have told friends about this place, and we will be back!"

"Enjoyed our stay at the quirky cosy accomodation and very close to Yosemite entrance. Hot tub was great. A bit of a carry to get from drive way into cabin; steep walk down path with set of stairs to get into the home. Forested property very nice with big trees. Nice library with books about Yosemite, climbing, and a fingerboard to pull on if you haven’t had enough exercise in the park.Host does require renters to get an insurance policy or place a bond prior to completing the rental agreement which I have not encountered previously."
