This turnout just off Tioga Road is a popular stop in Yosemite's high country, offering views of Tenaya Lake, Cloud's Rest, Half Dome and a handful of other granite grand slammers. An easy quarter-mile hike from the parking lot rises 100 feet in elevation before offering a breathtaking and unobscured view of the valley below.
