"Property was immense but everything went smoothly. Room was very convenient for visiting the park. The kitchenette was stocked nicely. Enjoyed the hot tub after hiking in the park."

"Our room was well laid out, and had all the necessary amenities. No fancy carpeting, but the floors were probably cleaner. There was ample lighting. Our only complaint was that it was hard to plug in a CPAP machine, since the extra outlets were hidden behind the heavy queen-sized beds. There were plenty of outlets in other parts of the room. The shower was very good. Plenty of hot water. The Keurig machine was welcome, and extra pods, tea bags, etc., were available in the office. The staff (of one woman) was exceedingly helpful. She recommended two restaurants and suggested we check them out online--we chose the one right next door, which had excellent food and a friendly atmosphere. All in all, we enjoyed our one-night stay. The location was convenient for sightseeing, too."

"Nice heated pool. The food was excellent at the restaurant and the lodge store had a big selection of food, drinks, and souvenirs. The balconies are a great place to relax. FYI, the lodge is 2.5 hours from the west and south entrances to Yosemite. The road is slow and curvy through the mountains. "

"It had everything you would expect from a 1 star motel. We had to travel to another location for check in (it was not communicated beforehand). The room was very dirty, stains everywhere. Toilet didn't flush properly. The room had a terrible smell. The air conditioning was very loud, probably technology of 50 years ago. The sheets and towels were very old. One of the towels was so old that it was ripped. The location was decent. 30 minutes drive from Yosemite Valley. So, if you want to pay 300+ USD for an OK location, this is your place. Otherwise, avoid it at all costs. I would never stay here again. "

"Upon arrival the host was was very unwelcoming stating, "I'm eating dinner, what do you want?" There was a bent nail sticking up from the floor on the threshold between the kitchen & bedroom, that was noticed while walking barefoot. There was no remote control for the TV mounted on the wall. When returning to the office to inquire, the answer was "there should be one, I'll send someone"... nobody came. There was blue tape on the back door where the door itself did not meet the door moulding. The cabin itself could be very charming, with some TLC. It looks nice from the outside and the yard is nice."

"Giving it 4 stars for the great location. The first two days were so foggy the visibility was less than 20 feet, which is really scary driving in the mountains. The rest of our stay was stunning! As for the cabin, it had the necessities. It could use some modernizing and newer furniture, but was fine. It was safe and gave our family a place to spend time together. Exactly as we expected. "
