"This is an absolutely fantastic hotel. From start to end of my short stay, the service of the front desk staff was impeccable (very helpful and friendly), check-in/check-out were a breeze, the room was spotless and large (!!!) (and so was the bathroom), and it is super near the Kurashiki Bikan area. They even have an onsen, but I didn't use it during my trip. Also, the hotel is home to an excellent restaurant Kurashiki Shirakabe with delightful Japanese cuisine. I would give this hotel 10/10!! (I mistakenly scored the breakfast on this review even though I didn't get the breakfast package, but it's also served by the same restaurant mentioned above, so I have no doubt the food would be awesome too!)"

"Lovely room in a lovely boutique hotel. Clean, spacious, well appointed, and a great shower. 2-minute walk from the train station and a short walk to the historic quarter. Just be aware that they changed the checkout time to 10. (Some of their materials still say 11 and we had factored that into our plans.)"
