Check-in was slow (over 20 minutes). No apology for the wait from an indifferent receptionist. Fortunately, every other staff member was very polite, friendly and helpful. Food was good and accommodation comfortable

We stayed for two nights on the 2nd floor The room itself was ok, but had a smell to it when you entered. This we found out to be cooking smells from the bars underneath our room at street level. Also very noisy on an evening to 3am in the morning with very loud music, shouting above music etc. from the bars below. This badly interrupted our sleep that evening. We did complain to reception and asked for a room change, they did offer a change, but this meant leaving our room and waiting for the replacement room which was only available later in the day. As we needed the room to get ready for a wedding this didn't work for us. Instead we were offered ear plugs.
