Cancun Cheap Holidays

We had a great stay! It's an excellent hotel for families. The entertainment team is amazing, Belem from the mini club was incredibly patient and sweet with the kids. Darwin, one of the waiters, was also super kind and attentive. The food was delicious. I do have two complaints: we were there to celebrate my husband's birthday, and even though I let the front desk and restaurant staff know in advance, no one really did anything special, which was disappointing. Also, making restaurant reservations was a hassle, they have several restaurants, but getting a spot felt nearly impossible. Still, overall we had a great time and would recommend it for families!

We had a great experience at Fiesta Americana Condesa. I proposed to my girlfriend and I wanted to give a huge shoutout to Fabian and Margarita at the Concierge. They made the experience effortless and I cannot thank them enough. JJ and Oscar gave excellent pool and beach service and we were very satisfied with the experience. We had the premium room with a plunge pool. The plunge pool could have been cleaner, however I think the issue was things would fall in, not something they can really control. The bathroom had a very spacious shower. The room was comfortable all around. They were not

We have stayed at Villa Del Palmar every time we’ve visited Cancun — three times now — but unfortunately, our most recent experience was disappointing. Compared to our previous visits, the quality of service at the restaurants has noticeably declined, while prices have increased significantly. For what they charge, the food is just average at best, which makes it feel like poor value overall. Another thing that stood out was how the welcome has changed. We used to be greeted with a fun, tropical piña colada when we arrived — now it’s just a glass of champagne. It’s a small touch, but it felt more special and fitting for a beach resort before. We also noticed changes in the in-room snacks available for purchase. We asked why the selection now includes things like salt and vinegar chips and Snickers bars instead of more local treats, and we were told it was because some guests complained. All I have to say is, if you’re coming to Mexico, you should expect — and want — to be immersed in Mexican culture, food, and flavors. There’s no need to Americanize everything. Another major frustration was the local transportation situation. Cancun basically requires tourists to use their regulated taxi system if you don’t have your own transportation, and the prices are outrageous. We were charged $25 just to get to the ferry terminal for Isla Mujeres, while an Uber would have cost about $6.25 USD. When we asked about ordering an Uber, we were told we could, but only if we waited for it

Everything in the Emporio hotel was excellent with all their staff being super. The only issue that we had and it isn’t the hotel itself was that the beach wasn’t that good with big and strong waves. I’m already thinking about our next visit to this hotel. Good and drinks were abundant and excellent.

I had a lovely stay here. It was quiet and peaceful. The beach has the softest white sand. The staff were nice. The room was very clean. I look forward to returning. Muchas gracias por todo!
