Eastern Sardinia Golf Holidays

We left our towels on the floor before leaving the room in the morning, expecting them to be changed. However, when we returned in the evening, all the dirty towels had been hung back up on the racks as if they were clean. Unfortunately, we only realized they were still dirty after we had already used them to shower. When we went to the lobby to address this with the tall woman at the reception, she responded aggressively, stating, "It's not like you wash your towels every day at home." When we asked if this was how they treat their guests, she replied, "I don't care what you do, it’s none of my business." Aside from the terrible service, the rooms were extremely small—there was not even enough space to open a second suitcase—and there was no view. The breakfast was mediocre and nothing special. Overall, the hotel offers very poor value for money, but the unprofessional and rude behavior of the receptionist was particularly upsetting and unacceptable.

First the staff were wonderful. However, the hotel is very dated. The breakfast was very average and it finished too early at 10am. The pool bar only served lunch for 1.5hrs so there were no food options except for soggy sandwiches and small premade pizzas. No room service, no coffee in the room. Air conditioner broke. We booked this hotel because it had beach access so that helped but I would not stay again.

First of all, the hotel is not beach front…. It is beach access from a side street. You are given a free pass for only one day for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. After that, the daily cost is 25 euro. Staff were very kind and willing to assist in any way. The breakfast was very good but did not change day to day. It was pretty much the same every day. There is no evening night life at this hotel. No bands, music etc. Guests gather around the pool nightly for cocktails with a view of the restaurant “Ninos”. A bit uncomfortable if you’re the ones having dinner. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean with very comfortable beds but small showers. There are mini coffee makers in the room but not in the lobby and you are charged 3 euro for water in your fridge. My recommendations, rent a car, you are then free to explore the island. Stop at the supermercato for munchies and water. We bought an umbrella for 15 euro and bought a blanket. Overall a nice stay but Pittolungo is a very quiet area at night. Perfect if you’re looking for quiet downtime with no crowds or loud music.

The highlights of the property include clean rooms, a refreshing and well-maintained pool excellent after a long day of sightseeing in the Sardinian heat, a delicious breakfast, including everything necessary to start your day, a great beach (not on property) with drink and food service, and an amazing after hours bartender (Gabriele) who made our stay extra special by always taking the time to speak with us. The only con is the distance into town. It’s a 15 to 20 minute walk, and with the Sardinian heat, it was too long. We tried it once and then opted to drive into town.

The absolute best beginning to our honeymoon! It was beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond!

Great hotel location. Small rooms but adequate. Lovely small private beach but the sun loungers were quite expensive. 40 Euros per person daily. Garden shower bottom by the beach was filthy. Lots of leaves blocking it and stagnant water, for at least three days while we were there here. Impossible to stand in it. Reported this issue at the reception to no avail. It’s a shame, no attention to details. Despite it, we loved to stay there. The receptionists were great especially Stefania who has gone out of her way to help us.

We had a warm welcome and the hotel looked fantastic. During our stay the staff were most helpful with directions, reservations and advice on ferry booking etc. Our room was nice, really clean and well maintained. However, we felt unable to use the pool and the sunbeds because after sitting by the pool on the first day we were unable to sit and enjoy as other residents with large groups of children were so noisy and screaming. I appreciate children make noise when they play but we came for peace and quiet and this was not the place for that. The hotel had a lovely restaurant, good breakfast and great service.
