We were upgraded to a larger room and they did tells laundry we had been unable to do the days prior. This was a wonderful hotel.

Expected better from a four star hotel. The room was dated in many ways and had one plug point we could use. There was no air-conditioning and it was too hot on a not particularly warm day. The windows opened but then you'd have the noise of Glasgow city centre, so you had to make a decision if you were going to be kept awake by noise or the heat.
