Live Oak Island Kid friendly Holidays

I loved this resort! It was beautiful. The staff was friendly; the grounds were clean and the rooms were clean and spacious. My daughter's room was huge, but it did have a little damp odor. That threw us off a bit since it was so neat and clean. Sometimes hotels have that smell when you're on the beach. It was a faint smell, but we always pack Lysol and wipes, so we were good. The resort was big so you will have to use the shuttle to get some places, or you can walk if you prefer. Please allow 15-20 minutes for the shuttle to arrive after texting them in some cases. They do not have any vending machines so if you like to drink or snack at night, please get them prior to going to your room. Also, if you do not drive, please be sure to get them to remove the parking fee from your bill at check in. We were only there for one night, but I would like to return one day so I can fully enjoy the resort because it rained all day when we were there. Hope this helps.

Property was clean. We did have construction going on but it wasn’t a bother. Great value

We went there with the kids for Disney and it was very pleasant, From shuttles to the Parks and the Food, great place to stay if you are goin with the kids.
