"The perfect location for all of your Isle of Skye exploration.
Nice staff and good clean rooms.
My husband and I found the room nice with a beautiful first floor view of the grounds but a little cramped and maybe needing a little refresh. We were told it was an upgrade due to the view, however the room was next to the housekeeping closet which meant it was quite loud early in the morning.
The breakfast each morning was lovely.
Everyone we met on staff was really helpful and kind."
"A beautiful property in a very quiet village, which we loved. A really good base to travel around the Isle of Skye. Breakfast was fab too! We stayed in the manse house and had a large room with double aspect. Great bathroom. Shower was amazing!"
"If you are looking for a place to stay on Islay that offers a comfortable and beautiful setting, complimented by great food and friendly and helpful staff, look no further. The rooms were wonderfully furnished and the attention to detail throughout the property was evident at every turn. The grounds, in particular the walk to the beach, were well done and drew us in for regular strolls.
Didn't play golf this time, but have in the past . . . highly recommended.
All told, five wonderful days."
"My family and I had a great 2 night day. The rental was spacious, clean and comfortable. We appreciated that the kitchen had basic staples like coffee, tea, oil, salt and pepper. We appreciated the fan as well, as it was quite warm in Isle of Skye during our stay."
"Property beautifully presented, high level of cleanliness, nearly everything equipped just missing a couple of kitchen items, like small plates and heat protector stands. Price was expensive due to our original 2 week holiday which was booked 6 months in advance being cancelled 2 weeks prior to holiday date, which lead to booking this property as only property available on the Isle of Skye which made it expensive for a week!!"
"We stayed on the Isle of Skye for a week at 6 Knott which was obsoletely idea for exploring the island. It's located just a 15 minute drive north of Portree (the main town) making it very central and accessible to most areas of interest.
The cottage is located on a very quiet lane with views over the hills and the loch. It has a secure garden which was great for the dog. It is spacious with a kitchen/ dining room, two living rooms, one with a wood burner and one with an open fire, downstairs...
