The staff in the restaurant her name is Karolina , by her great service accommodating me as a vegan :) she went above and beyond It made my experience on the hotel more relaxing and welcomed Thanks Karolina

Great healthy breakfast

The rooms was quirky because of all the red brick. Used to be apartments before it was made into what it is now. There was no lunch or dinner service in the “à la carte” restaurant and hasn’t been for more than two years. There was that amount of dust in the breakfast room on the floor and other surfaces and the fire extinguisher which was rather worrying as it told me it’s probably out of date. The floors never get mopped or even hoovered. So wear something on your feet in your room at all times or you’ll have black feet. Floors in the corridor looked clean though. The water has a funky smell,like drains. The showerhead stank,not that you could shower with it unless you hand held it sat on the seat of the bath. Black stuff came out of the jets of the bath. At nighttime the pipework would gurgle as if blocked and backed up. Again a worry about other fire extinguishers on another level and the filters need changed in the aircon as it left a not too nice a smell in the room when it was on. The double bed has two single duvets. The maid tidied the bed but never changed anything and would wash up your coffee cup from that morning and changed the towels which are not that soft but serviced by an outside company,so not the hotels fault. The stay was lovely in the region and the hotel is perfectly positioned for the old town square. Breakfast is rather limited unless you like eggs done about 4 different ways,but not boiled and the fresh orange is amazing. Most staff 100%

We were very disappointed with our room. There was far too little counter space and none at all to rest and open luggage. The small refrigerator was on the wall, making it difficult to avoid bumping our heads when we used the counter below it. And there were too few electrical outletd; those in the room were located inconviently above the pillows on the bed. And the bed itself was uncomfortably soft. All in all, a bad experience.

I couldn’t fault the hotel for its quality, staff, food, cleanliness and location. Walking distance to the train, restaurants, bars and sights. Would highly recommend.
