Roosevelt Roads Pet-friendly Holidays

My family and I overall had a positive experience. The location was convenient, the staff members we interacted with were generally pleasant, and the hotel served as a good home base for exploring the city with our children. Our room was comfortable, However, there were several issues that future guests should be aware of. First, there is a daily resort fee of approximately $45. While these fees may be common at some properties, the charge came as a surprise and significantly increased the total cost of our stay. Greater transparency during the booking process would have been appreciated. Second, we received information indicating that breakfast was included on certain days, yet we were later charged approximately $90 for a breakfast. We are currently seeking clarification regarding these charges, as this was unexpected. Another issue was the room phone. The phone did not appear to connect to the front desk, making it difficult to ask questions or address concerns without going downstairs in person. Finally, beginning around 10:00 PM each night, there was a noticeable thumping or pounding noise coming from above our room. We were usually tired enough from our daily activities that we were still able to to sleep, but lighter sleepers may find the noise disruptive. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and made many lasting family memories. The hotel has several strengths, particularly its location and family-friendly atmosphere, but improved communication is needed.

Friendly staff

Staff was amazing and so helpful, but the rooms are so small. The shower is across from your bed with barely any space in between the two, and the restroom doesn’t have a door so you can hear everything someone is doing on the toilet.

amazing first time in PR aire de olives team was very accommodating, i had to give points off because they don’t have microwaves in their rooms and i purchased a birthday package that wasn’t set up when i arrived but they quickly made sure it was set up while we were exploring PR. those two minuscule hiccups were overshadowed by how safe we as two women felt on and around the property and the kindness we received from the team! will definitely consider booking again when staying in the isla verde area! it’s also not too far from san juan

Overall, I had a great stay at the Fairmont. The only downside was that my room had a strange smell, and the bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working. Other than that, everything was excellent. The amenities were wonderful, the beach was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

I am not sure why this hotel is rated so high. The staff was wonderful but the property is a bit worn. The rooms need to be renovated. My room had a musty odor to it and was just a bit run down. Superficially the room was clean but I am someone who pays attention to detail and several areas were overlooked. The food and drinks wee over priced. The drinks were watered down. If u want mediocre it’s ok. Keep in mind there is no beach access either.

Absolutely beautiful! Service outstanding and everyone is very polite and nice. Rooms are to die for! Excellent food with a large variety to include vegetarian options.
