Edinburgh and Lothian Romantic Holidays

We got a great deal on the room and though it is off the beaten path it was well worth the Uber. We do not golf but the grounds are extensive and beautiful. We used the pool, saunas and nature trail to meet the beautiful horses. The breakfast was pricey so we skipped but the room was humongous by European standards, clean well appointed. If you choose to stay I'd recommend multiple nights to take advantage of all of the amenities and services available.

This is an elegant, clean hotel. Breakfast served in beautiful room. It's very quiet, in west end, walked to everything. Loved it!

The staff went above and beyond!!! The room was very clean. We ordered a burger one night, another night the charcuterie board..EXCELLENT!!! Both recommended by the staff. Then our bartender made us fabulous drinks to include a stamped 1816 cube for my whiskey. Beautiful craftsmanship in his drinks. We have stayed in 6 hotels in Scotland, this was by far the best 4 day stay thus far!!! Thank you Apex staff for everything!!! Ohhh and Location, just outside is multiple bus routes and the train terminal is a block away.

Central, busy location on High Street/the Royal Mile with close by sites, museums, pubs. Terrific buffet breakfast. Most importantly, excellent staff (i.e. Natasha, Roy, Pablo) who were very very helpful with suggestions, tours, bookings, restaurants. Arranged a personal driver for us day trip. Busy city, lots to do, reserve early, enjoy... :)

Nicely located,very helpful staff. We had multiple rooms which were the same price but very different. No views. Breakfast was decent, pricey, but service spotty when they were busy. Waitstaff very nice but not well coordinated. TV and wifi good. Getting TV booted to news required a maze of clicks, and was slow to load.concierge very helpful

Great location, I think the out door pool should not be a extra charge but overall a great experience
