Lobby is great. Elevators are a mess. Rooms are painted tacky and the staff at 5:30AM could not check me out - email or print the invoice. I had to call again. Lobby is the best part. Everything else is like staying in a motel. No water in the room or at checkin.

Twice hotel personnel either called or came to the door to ask if we needed anything and how things were going. Exceptional hotel and staff.

Great hotel, great location

Excellent location in midtown in order to travel north or south of the manhattan. The rooms were large and comfortable, but the lighting in the room was very dim. We sent a note to the manager but there was no response. The only thing that was not good was charging the resort fee which was about $50 a day for amenities that most people in the hotel do not use. Restaurant off the lobby for breakfast and dinner was convenient and the staff were very attentive. However the breakfast was expensive ( $14- $18 for omelette / eggs or yogurt ) and it had a limited menu. We ended up going to various places on Madison which was half the price - eg. Pret n manger. We would stay again.

Our stay was very nice. Two issues: We received a VIP benefit of a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival. When I asked at the front desk, they said it was already in the refrigerator in our room. It wasn't, but they gave it to me at the front desk with two coupons for buy one get one free margaritas which was very nice of them. The amount of elevators they have for the floors of retail/restaurants which are open to the public and the amount of floors is not adequate at all. We had to wait multiple times in non peak hours for elevators with enough room. Also, there are no back elevators so you will sometimes have to make the choice of riding with commercial trash cans that smell or waiting for 1-3 more elevators. Would also be nice if they would have a hot tub to use year rounds.

Excelente hotel Great service front desk , restaurant and rooms comfortable and clean . Includes breakfast and dinner Sonia at restaurant was excellent service that she provided with smile .

The hotel was very clean but several items in the room and throughout the hotel needed repair and maintenance. There were lots of dings and chips out of doors, baseboards, furniture etc. there was a lot of peeling wallpaper. Not a big deal if those things don’t bother you, and the cleanliness makes up for much of it. We didn’t receive the friendly support from staff that others mention. Not that anyone was rude, but we didn’t feel anyone went out of their way to be helpful. For instance, they didn’t offer to help with luggage on our way out at all. Stood next to me and watched me struggle with the suitcase. I also requested a high floor room and they gave us a room at the back of the hotel with no view at all. They charge a large fee for the exercise room but didn’t even tell us where it was. Overall the cleanliness and daily housekeeping balanced out these small things. We wouldn’t book this hotel again though.
