The Royal Horseguards Hotel exceeded our expectations. We absolutely loved this beautiful, clean, and classic hotel. Every member of the staff was welcoming, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. A special thank you to Pervez, the Head Doorman, who made us feel as though we were stepping into our own home each time we arrived. His kindness and genuine hospitality stood out from the moment we checked in. When we were leaving to explore the city, he not only told us which direction to walk but actually stepped outside and pointed us in the right direction. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect example of the exceptional service we experienced during our stay. What a lovely hotel! We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.

I will start by saying that I would highly recommend the 1 Hotel Mayfair. The staff are lovely & the rooms are great. This is my 3rd stay there & it didn’t go quite as well as it has in the past. I always bring my dog with me and they usually provide dog wipes so that you can wipe off their feet before entering the hotel room and those were unfortunately not provided this time and they said that they didn’t have them. That was a bummer because I would’ve brought my own, but I didn’t because I anticipated them being in the room again. I would say my biggest disappointment was with room service. I would not recommend the tomato Barada pizza. It is covered in dried tomato paste and then portions of Barada, but it was not very tasty and it was just not what I had expected at all. The tomato sauce is weird and even the Barada is a little weird. In the morning, I ordered a California burrito and ask them to add a few ingredients. They forgot the tomatoes, but they added spicy pickles and because I absolutely hate pickles. The whole burrito was pretty much ruined. When I called them and let them know about it, they said that they would try to take it off the bill. They did in fact take it off of the Bill, but I had a little giggle over the fact that they still charged me for the Latte. I would’ve thought that they would’ve Just exited out the entire breakfast, Bill. It’s not a big deal. I just found it a little funny. I had a great stay at the St David's Hotel, which is incredibly convenient and within easy walking distance of Paddington Station. As a solo traveler who frequently needs a 1-2 night base for short trips or an early flight via the Heathrow Express, the location simply cannot be beaten. The highlight of the stay was definitely the team. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my visit, from the reception team to the cleaning staff. While there was a slight struggle to find my reservation initially, they handled it well and got it resolved quickly. My room was quirky and the bed was very comfortable. To keep this review completely honest for future travelers, there are a couple of things to note. Being on the ground floor, you can hear the rumble of the Underground trains from 5:00 AM until past midnight. There is also no air conditioning; this wasn't an issue for my stay, but it might be worth keeping in mind if you are booking during mid-summer. Neither of these points ruined my trip, and I would happily stay here again. Just be mindful of the weather when you book!

Grubby, tired hallway and stairs made my heart sink as I self checked in. The room was a pleasant surprise. Large and spacious. No shower was a disaster the fact it was adjoining a pub with loud music wasn't the best but the bed was comfortable and I had a pleasant stay.
