9.2/10 Wonderful! (2,264 reviews)
As you enter it's clean and tidy. You are greeted by staff and you feel secure. The food and staff were great but the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. Walking to and from the rooms through corridors better suited to a hospital or mental asylum was spooky. Vinal flooring lent itself to this feeling. Would I stay again?- if I had to. Once you got to the room it was very comfortable.

Always enjoy our stays at Saint Helens. It’s a hotel that really doesn’t feel like a brand - it feels like a local Irish “Big House” hotel in all the best ways. Lots of locals visiting for weddings and other family events.
The staff are friendly and do their best to be helpful and address any questions and / or concerns that might arise along the way.
We love the garden, the outdoor terrace and distant views of the sea (if you have a balcony room) all of which are special this close to Dublin City. It’s easy to park and you’re near some lovely seaside villages (Monkstown, Dunleary and Dalkey to name just a few).
You can quickly jump on the city ring road M50 if you want to visit some beautiful counties like Wicklow and Kildare nearby and/or get to the airport.
They do a great Irish breakfast and it’s lovely to sit outside on the terrace enjoying a glass of wine in the evening.
We always enjoy our time there. Thank you.
