We've stayed at the Golden Nugget several times over the years as it's convenient for the downtown location and used to be the nicest hotel there before Circa arrived. We stayed for 1 night to extend a trip for a conference and the room rate was very reasonable. However the room itself was the worst we've had there - very basic, tub had lots of brown rust spots and it was very loud...some kind of mechanical noise every 10 mins all night (maybe an HVAC??) In additon to the noisy in room AC. So you get what you pay for!

Poolside cabanas could use a good deep cleaning but otherwise it’s good to go

Staff was courteous.

Caesar's Place is a beautiful resort. Very clean with a friendly staff. My only complaint is the Resort Fee. I was emailed about it from the beginning, but after booking on Expedia I don't think it's a fair charge. I paid once, planned my trip, now I have to pay again.
