Heart of England Ski Holidays

Good hotel. I did not receive any of the benefits of a vip stay but had a pleasant stay. Really well located, close to the tube and many restaurants. Felt safe as a solo traveller. Staff were really helpful .

We really appreciated that our room was ready when we checked in early after a red-eye flight across the Atlantic. Breakfast at the Riu Plaza is outstanding. The location is excellent. The rooms are well designed. My only significant complaint is the poor performance of RIU’s website: I only used Expedia to make this reservation because I couldn’t get RIU’s site to work, and I still have problems using it for simple things like finding hotel information. The RIU loyalty program gives you extra points for booking directly through their site, but my experience is that this is nearly, if not absolutely, impossible. The site is laggy, it sends you round in circles, and times you out while you are waiting for its responses. Thank goodness for Expedia!

Just missing a good breakfast and dining option

The property is handy to everything like transport, shops etc. Staff are also welcoming and extremely helpful.

Very convenient location to subway line. Clean and daily refresh done well. Helpful staff when required extra electric outlets, iron and linen. Heating/AC issues were solved when brought to maintenance's attention. Would stay there again when in London.

Lawrence is a gracious host and makes his guests feel comfortable. The rooms are nicely furnished, clean, and with excellent bath with facility.

Great staff, great location

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel is very beautiful, modern and elegant. The matcha pancakes were superb and the glass of prosecco upon first time arrival didn’t hurt!

The room was clean however the air conditioning didn’t work. We had to call them a couple of times to get them to come up and fix it.
