"Tradewinds is a lovely dog-friendly hotel within perfect walking distance to busy, downtown Carmel. The staff are so kind, the facility is updated, with nicely appointed decor, clean, well-laid out rooms, and a delicious breakfast delivered by request! This is definitely a gem and we'll be back without a doubt, thank you!"

"The staff was very helpful, gave us a lot of suggestions to local food and drinks. The location was brilliant, right next to downtown Carmel and 8min walk to beach. They also serve breakfast to your door around 8 am daily, which is delicious and has balanced ingredients. My only complaint is the soundproofing was poor, you can easily hear the voice in the next room. Fortunately everyone was mostly quiet during my stay."

"Even from checking into the hotel all the staff was super friendly and helpful and gave restaurant recommendations.The room was amazing and clean and the linens on the bed were soft and comfortable. The only drawback from the room is that there was minimal air circulation and when we first entered the room we needed to open the windows for a couple hours to air out the room.
