"Room was spacious. Staff were friendly and spoke reasonably good English. Plenty of amenities. We had breakfast at the hotel the buffet selection was excellent. There were a few dining restaurants at the hotel. The two upscale restaurants were quite expensive. We opted for the sushi restaurant. Reasonably priced but could have better selections. Location was right next to the local train station with pedestrians access to the hotel. However the train is every 10 minutes to Kyoto station...

"Absolutely wonderful. Stayed three nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. The triple room was amazing, and even more so considering the great price. Spacious room with a fantastic walk in shower. Excellent staff and service, and the complimentary sake service each evening was a nice surprise. And the location cannot be beat. "Great all around hotel at an even better price. Had a poor stay at another hotel before EN Hotel Kyoto and it's safe to say that it saved the trip. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, good amenities and decent location. Only things is change are putting an outlet in the bathroom and making the bathroom itself a bit bigger. Other than that, I think you’d have a hard time finding a better bang for your buck. "
