A little way from the heart of Bologna ( but the walk into the central square takes you past many shops, all under the famous prices)
Check in was efficient and my request for a room away from the road was granted without a fuss.
A pleasant room although it was clearly 2 single beds made up ad a double, this wasn't a problem but one side of the bed didn't have a bedside table which made reading bit tricky.
Clean bathroom restored with products daily.
Breakfast was excellent...a huge choice. You certainly wont start your day hungry.
Would happily stay here again.

Great hotel on the out skirts of the old town. Easy to find and only a 19 minute walk to the shops, bars and restu rants in the middle of town.
Hotel is small and quiet.
Breakfast was interesting, nice selection of yoghurt, fruit juice, cold mests, cheese and croissants with pizza, cake and a pot of the strongest coffee ever seen.
Rooms decorated brightly, on suite excellent with amazing waterfall like shower.
Tea and coffee facilities in room disappointing and iron leaked water, but everything else good.

Brilliant little hotel with nice friendly staff. Breakfast was terrific. Down a side road with a bit of graffiti (which you may have read elsewhere) but really don't let this put you off!! Walking distance to all the sights. Will no doubt use this hotel if I ever return to Bologna.
Hotel is midway between train station and historic centre, within easy walking distance of both, and on a quiet street. It's a very nice older building impeccably maintained by a very polished and sympathetic staff. It's really a gem of a hotel.
Famed for its medieval towers, Bologna's well-preserved historic center is where visitors can climb the Asinelli Tower for panoramic views of the city's red-tiled rooftops, including the Basilica of San Petronico on Piazza Maggiore. Extending from the piazza, over 40 km of porticos provide shelter for pedestrians. About a 10-minute stroll east, the venerable University of Bologna dates to 1088.
