Everything you want to see at the city is within the walking distance, and you can also walk 5 min to get to the bus stop to get tickets to San Luca Express! We took the train from nearby San Lazaro di Savenna which has free parking. Note that there is a Trenitalia ticket machine at this location but it is only on the one platform and is hidden until you get to the top of the main stairs. For breakfast buffet service there are nice offerings, a recommendation is to get to breakfast early as if you arrive a half hour before breakfast ends the staff needs to breakdown the service to prepare for lunch and you will be rushed out. Note - not an issue just a recommendation as the offering of the buffet are extensive and wonderful."
