"Lovely cozy hotel in Paddington London. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would have liked temperature control in room, in terms of having heat on when I wanted it. I also would like face cloths and hand towels to go along with the provided bath towels. If you like charming and typically English, you owe it to yourself to check The Mitre House out!"

"Great property. Close to Hyde Park and other tourist attractions. Easy walk to Oxford street and other shopping options. Room was smaller than expected but very clean. We were put close to the elevator and stairs(typical when booking with Expedia) but couldn’t hear any noise. Would’ve given it a 5 stars but the bathroom was extremely tiny. "

"The location of the hotel, immediately opposite Kensington Gardens and within easy walking distance of the V&A museum, is excellent. As for the interior of the hotel itself: it clearly needs a lot of money spending in order to effect much needed renovation of a potentially splendid environment. Staff were excellent."

"Nice location to different foods, and a close walk to Paddington Station as well as a stop for the big bus blue route and Toto’s. Only reason it wasn’t a “5” is because the walls and ceilings are fairly thin, so when people come back really late at night you can hear them."

"Old hotel and no lift. Up 5 flights of stairs with full size suitcase. Is located close to Paddington station to catch train to Heathrow. It served its purpose. Not very comfortable bed/mattress but was only for one night. Didn’t sleep well. Guests are loud in hallways. I think all these hotels in this area are like that"
