The lovely receptionist upgraded my room close to their garden as my dog was staying with me - dog bed and bowl ready for us in the room. "Loved the location of this property. I had a small child & we were in Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens every day. It’s also well connected by tube & buses to everywhere you want to go in Central London. Queensway has a myriad of places to eat & is a short walk away. The hotel is older but kept clean so good value for London. The cleaning lady on level 2 was especially nice to us every day."

"The hotel room was basic but clean - the only issue we had was that unfortunately, despite my booking stating we had breakfast included, the staff at the hotel kept saying that they could not see it on their booking. I don’t know what happened there and I am aware it’s not the fault of the staff, but it was disappointing. The hotel is well positioned, very well connected "

"The location of the hotel, immediately opposite Kensington Gardens and within easy walking distance of the V&A museum, is excellent. As for the interior of the hotel itself: it clearly needs a lot of money spending in order to effect much needed renovation of a potentially splendid environment. Staff were excellent."
