I’m sorry, but this is not a 4 star hotel. For the value: Cons - rooms are tiny and barely have room to move around if you have more than two suitcases, no mini fridge, no iron, paper thin walls you could hear peoples conversations in the rooms next to you, expensive for what it is. Pros - great locations, clean, quiet street at night, helpful staff, good working AC. This hotel is more like 2.5 stars for what it offers in terms of amenities

There are currently renovations / construction being completed, which makes it quite noisy during the day and early mornings. The gym is also closed due to construction which was not communicated prior to arrival.

Stayed here overnight as it was close to Paddington. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, quiet and had a lot of natural light. Reception suggested I borrow an umbrella for the upcoming rain, which was helpful. Price was very reasonable for London.

Great safe location. Room was very nice, clean. When you walk into hotel the lobby always had strong terrible inscense smell.Very bad for any one with allergies. It smelled awful in lobby. Our room happen to be on lobby level. On way to room the hallways smelled of chinese food maybe because the kitchen was on that level. The room was nice and very clean. A great stay except for the smells outside the room. Also we choose one day to have the breakfast there. It was overpriced we thought and also it was buffet style and all cold even the hot items.Nice breakfasts place walkable 2-3 blocks away

Lovely stay!
Really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. Quite beautiful neighborhood, not far from Paddington Station. The staff was wonderful from check-in to check-out. Having a lift with all our luggage was so nice. I would definitely stay again when visiting London.

Great location and nice hotel. Only missing a star because there are no outlets by the bed so I could not use my medically required CPAP machine while I sleep. When I asked for an extension cord, they did not have any. Otherwise, a lovely hotel. Easy walking distance from Paddington.

Nice Hotel Close to Paddington Station/ Hyde Park
We chose this hotel because it was close to Paddington Station so we could take the Heathrow Express train and walk to the hotel, then walk back to Paddington Station to take the train to Oxford. It's also close to Hyde Park. The room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. Bring your own Kleenex, washcloth and magnifying mirror if you need those items because they are not provided. Also, the shower is in the tub which is a high step up and over, and more importantly, a high step over and down when you're wet and slippery, without anything to hang onto, so take care getting out of the shower! Would have liked some hooks in the entryway for our coats, as the clothes cupboard isn't very deep - two rods facing you as you open the doors, rather than a rod across from left to right. Wouldn't mind them cutting back on the smell of incense in the lobby too...
