"Unique property with quirky decor that we like. Very convenient across from Gare d Lyon. Perfect place with a spectacular breakfast for a stay after a long trip. Reasonably easy metro ride from CDG."

"A very positive experience. The double room was a good size for an old hotel in central Paris, and the bed was very comfortable. A welcome kettle and teabags in the room. Good sound insulation and double glazing, so although v central it felt quiet and peaceful. Very close and convenient for gare de Lyon. Helpful friendly reception staff and they were happy to keep luggage for a few hours after checkout. The only small concern was that it was a little difficult to regulate the shower temperature - the hot tap was very hot, with a potential danger of scalding. But overall a good hotel and I'd be happy to return and recommend."

"The hotel was quite clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with a wide variety of options. I used the pool often. It was a nice room with jungle style wallpaper and the sound of chirping birds. It is near the # 1 Metro which provides easy transportation to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Champs Elysees. There were other Metro lines as well and RER. Although the lobby was attractive I would have liked it if there were more places to hang out to chat. There was only one couch. The rest tables and chairs where it seemed that you would have to buy something to sit there. All in all I have a favorable impression of the hotel. "
