"Loved this hotel - great location. Really quiet despite such a central location. Yes rooms are not super modern but they reflect the history of the building. Great pool and breakfast on the terrace."

"One of the best places we stayed for one night , the host (owner and chef) was very friendly and the food he cooked was amazing - one of the best meals we had in the 3 weeks we stayed in Italy. Getting there by car was convenient but no easy to find. Once you are there the place is amazing and the food just great!"

"Loved this place. A truly authentic Tuscany experience. Such a beautiful place. The restaurant was fabulous and an experience too. Should have stayed longer. "
"We enjoyed the stay. Everything was very nice and orderly. The restaurants are delicious. They have activities to do on the property such as a tour of the winery, a bike tour through the grounds, and truffle hunting. Montalcino is a 20 minute drive away but there are also a couple charming smaller towns closer than that."

"My wife and I had a wonderful time. The hotel is spacious, nice and clean, as you would expect at a 5 star hotel. The location couldn’t be better. Hotel personnel is highly professional. You won’t find a better place to have breakfast than at the hotel. "

It was so quiet we felt like we were the only people there until we went for breakfast and realised there were others in the hotel. The view from the our room at the back of the hotel over the Tuscan hills will live with me for a very long time. "
