"We had a 4 night’s stay here and used it as our base for tours around Toscany. It is located in a quiet area outside Siena. The apartment was nice and clean. We used the kitchen for minor cooking and that worked well. There is a supermarket close by and small restaurants in the town. The AC was working great. "I loved every moment at the Agriturismo San Galgano. Beautifully restored for modern times, interior decoration appointed with excellent taste. Lovely pond and pool on the property. It is very convenient to have the restaurant on the property. The location is magical right next to the famous Abbey of San Galgano. Looking forward to returning in the near future. "This is an awesome family run, bed-and-breakfast with a clean very nice pool, amazing staff and service, truly awesome breakfast with everything fresh and fabulous coffees, and great comfortable beds And the restaurant has really great food and service. The only downfall is trying to stay there without a car as the buses run rather infrequently And are nonexistent on holidays and taxis are difficult/ Expensive to arrange."

"We had a superior room, which was very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant several times, and the food and drink was excellent. One evening we just enjoyed the cocktail bar, and the staff were fun! Breakfast buffet has everything one could want, and was always fresh. Free parking! You will have an uphill walk to the town centre, but no matter where you go in Siena it’s either up or down. Highly recommended."

"Het is een verbouwde hooischuur van steen in twee verdiepingen. Dat maakt een prachtig, smaakvol gerestaureerd en zeer ruim huis. Alle ruimtes zijn heel schoon, er is airco in de slaapkamers en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Je slaapt er heerlijk, het is er stil.Het huis ligt een stuk van het hoofdhuis, de oude boerderij, af. Er omheen is veel groen. En het uitzicht vanaf de eettafel buiten over het landschap is fantastisch. Je ziet reeën, hazen, bijzondere vogels en veel zwaluwen die hun vliegkunsten vertonen. De eigenaren zijn heel gastvrij en erg aardig. Je hebt veel privacy en het contact is heel hartelijk en gezellig (de eigen olio d'olivo en de groenten uit de moestuin zijn heerlijk!).In een minuut of twintig sta je geparkeerd op de Santa Caterina parking en van daar ben je via de roltrappen zo in het oude centrum van Siena. Erg mooi!Dit keer bekeken we onder meer het museumcomplex van de Santa Maria della Scala. Waaronder het oude Ospedale, de frescocyclus van Lorenzo di Pietro (il Vecchietta) en de fantastische Etruskische en Romeinse collectie! Je kunt er uren doorbrengen. We bezochten verder voor het eerst Asciano met haar Museo di palazzo Corboli. La sala di Aristotele is geweldig mooi en bijzonder beschilderd (13e eeuw). Ecc. Ecc. Verder kun je er heerlijk fietsen in de omgeving als je niet opziet tegen wat steilere stukken ;)"

"Even better than we picturedThis place exceeded our expectations — a beautiful, scenic property that was the perfect break from the big cities. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and cool, and the outdoor area was ideal for enjoying dinner al fresco. The infinity pool and lounging area were an absolute highlight — stunning views and the perfect spot to relax between exploring the region.A special highlight: the cooking class with the owner's son. We cannot recommend it enough — our teenagers enjoyed it just as much as the adults did.We'd definitely come back!"
