The location is unbeatable, four major sites are less than 10 mins walking. We loved the vending machines for a quick drink! Would highly recommend for anyone coming to Siena. The food is also very good, and the overall atmosphere is charming. However, the bed was terrible. The mattress was old, and the springs made it very uncomfortable, so I couldn’t sleep well. I’ve stayed in many different hotels and have never experienced such a bad bed. I understand that the concept and vibe of the place are meant to feel historic or classic, but for a property of this level, the bed should match the quality of the rest of the experience. Upgrading the mattresses would make a big difference."
