"Staff were friendly and keen to help. Room was bright, clean, bed was comfy, air-conditioning worked. Location was pretty good for Carmelo proper - just off the centre, with easy access for everything from bus station to some of the best food in town. "The 4 bed room was hot and had no AC. Luckily, I had the room to myself for 2 of the nights! The staff was very helpful and the other guests were very fun (mostly young Brazilian travelers). "This is a great hostel to stay at in Montevideo. Its located close to the city centre and to everything you need. The staff are friendly and helpful.
