"Comfortable and quiet"

"Located outside the castle walls but in a nice location near restaurants and cafes. It is a lovely old hotel but beware it has no elevator and a windy staircase. They did have someone to carry our luggage up and down. Unfortunately we left our backpack with our luggage in the room and the gentleman at the desk was not happy about that. So I guess that is not okay. It is a short walk up to the castle which is a must see. "

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"Well kept hotel with all expected facilities. No soap in shower, air con temperamental but otherwise fine. Pool could do with the water being heated and there could be a bum fight for the sun loungers Polite service throughout "

"A lovely hotel as a base for touring the area. Good breakfast and dinner options. Walking distance to town and canal du midi. Lovely pool. I would recommend and would return."

"Claude the owner was obliging to all requests, even providing an area to enjoy the Rugby World Cup and also the terrace where we enjoyed a drink or two. Our 6 rooms all overlooked the Midi Canal thus we enjoyed the ambience of this famous waterway area."

"Ok for a one night stop, quick check in and clean room but Def needs more pillows. Rubbish night's sleep with a flat pillow."

"Lovely hotel. Bedroom was a good size and beds were very comfy. Bathroom was a little outdated. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was full and couldnt accommodate us for dinner. The rest of the town was quiet so was a struggle to find somewhere. Hotel overall was lovely and good experience."

"Owner operator was very pleasant. The hotel was dated but clean. The recommendation on the restaurant was not a very good one. Other than that it was fine for the price the bed was comfortable and I did like the pillows."
