"I have stayed here a few times over the last year on business trips. Friendly, clean and tidy and good value for money. The King and double bedrooms I have stayed in are spacious and the beds and pillows very comfortable. Nice touch that when they get to recognise you as a regular, a room upgrade is simply done as a nice gesture without asking - excellent customer service that puts the guest first. Happened at least three times fairly recently "

"We had to ask about the parking and we had to park behind the church. There was limited dining we had to eat elsewhere. The continental breakfast was limited but the poached eggs on toast was good, the bar wasn't open. It took a while for the hot water to come through the shower. It needs to be updated but overall the stay was good. "

"First time staying here and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spacious and airy , bed very comfortable. Welcome pack was good. Shower was great and bathroom was immaculate. My only suggestion was to add a handrail inside the shower and maybe a small corner shelf for shampoo, conditioner , shower gel it’s much better for someone disabled. "Hotel is being refurbished, and pricing reflected it. Staff were scares understandably, but honnest as called up about found neckless that was left. would love to see it when finished, as long as they do somthing about the dam noisey owls (really)! "

"A place of real quality. I had a superb sea/ golf course view which was a great room. The restaurant was an absolute must to visit, brilliant food and very well priced for what you got on your plate, hardest thing was deciding what to choose from the menu. Also must mention the staff who couldn’t do enough to help you."

"We had a lovely one night stay here (wish it was longer). The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious. I am coeliac and the server and chef were very accommodating to my needs. So glad we found this hidden gem and will definitely be back."
