"Overnight stay , arrived late the restaurant had closed but vending machine and microwave saved the Day. Good breakfast comfortable room . Quirky location. A little disappointed not to hear the animals but considering the weather they were probably tucked up asleep. "

"Really nice hotel very clean good parking down side for me is I left at 06:00 but reception seem to be unattended , no lights etc so I was unable to get a receipt for my stay also odd was there didn’t seem to be a box to drop my key into and I didn’t fancy leaving it in the room as you need the key to lock the door when you leave "

"Lovely quiet stay, and all staff are superb had an error on my own behalf and was sorted from the manger with no fuss. Had a delicious meal at their french themed restaurant, all reasonably priced. My stay was worth every penny and more "

"Little bit of confusion at check in which was quickly and easily sorted out by the staff. Apparently hotels.com and the hotel aren’t compatible when booking so I’d call ahead if you are staying here to cover any issues before you arrive. Either way, we got a room that we were expecting and breakfast. Room was large and comfortable, very clean."

"Was greeted pleasantly with a smile and was checked in quickly. Reception dealt promptly with my queries. Food in hotel was good and service was as expected. Good choices on the menu, and a good selection of drinks, all be it , a little pricey, but I expect that from these places. Hotel has plenty of parking. Room was small but sufficient for me. air con and heating worked. Everything is good quality but I felt there could have been at least a plug or phone socket by side of bed. But just...

"Everything was very good. However having to go downstairs for milk when you expect some milk in the room and only have to go down for extras. The hotel staff and stay was excellent. Do be aware that the carpark is private and costs a lot! This will stop me staying next time "
