"I had booked a room with a walk-in shower because I use a cane but found the bed in the allotted room was a bit too high for me, as I told the night manager. The very next day, Tom Jennings, the overall manager, on his own arranged an”accessible” room for me with a lower bed as well. I was so very grateful to him. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but the staff and manager made me feel very welcome. I recommend the hotel highly. "

"The hotel is a very old building and therefore no lift and for us in a top floor room quite a lot of stairs. Room was a good size with double bed, desk, small table and two chairs, wardrobe with iron and ironing board. Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdrier and fridge. Free wi-fi good TV. Reasonable sized en-suite with over-bath shower. Mismatched bedside lights; not important but could improve the image. There is airccon but we didnt need it. Good choice of breakfast; continental or cooked...

"I did not like trying to get to the hotel which is situated on the grounds a public university. One entrance from a main Street was blocked off and you had to go find another one to get into it There is a big sign at this entrance to the university that points to you to the hotel and the GPS send you there. If they're not going to open that one access then they need to put a sign saying this side is closed and brief description of how to get to the property. Parking was terrible but all...

"For a 1 night business trip this was ideal. The hotel was clean and comfortable but a bit tired in decor. My room had an unusual beam in a doorway, but the bed was very comfortable and all of the amenities were clean and functional."

"Great staff and extremely clean throughout. Unlimited tea and coffee and hot showers were highlights. What we didn’t enjoy was the extremely cramped room. Space where is was needed wasn’t there, yet it felt that some space was wasted. The pillow was so large it was uncomfortable. Neighbouring snoring was easily heard throughout the night. "

"despite asking fir a wet room none were available on first. night. so changed rooms no subtitles on original room only i'm disabled room temporary ramp on stairs too steep but otherwise they were very accommodating nothing was too much trouble. "
