"Just an amazing gem, the property itself is an amazing estate with great staff and food - with the feel of a small boutique manor, it offers a nice luxurious retreat at a reasonable price, it was the highlight stay of our 16 day trip around the UK."
"Been before and really central to everything although the accommodation has went down hill in my opinion. Bathroom didnt have a nice smell stained glass at bottom of shower door, toilet had yellow marks around rim of seat and around the fixings. Cant remember if they had a fridge last time we stayed but didnt this time and really needs one. 3 people staying and only 2 cups. Still had a lovely time overall."
"Absolutely lovely stay at New Bath Hotel. The staff were lovely very helpful. A bonus is the use of the lido. Very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay again."
"Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast.
The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as it’s false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free...
"This was a very nice place to stay. I enjoyed the closed in patio area and the breakfast was very delicious. The rooms were neat and the area was safe and quiet."

"Nice clean hotel with a nice ambiance. We only stayed one night as easy walk to town to see the boat illuminations which was perfect. We had a room at the top floor. Compact but practical for the price and one night. "
"It was a good experience though it wasbjust for a night. Walking distance to heights if Abraham and town centre. Staff are so friendly and respectful. Even met someone from our hometown which was a bonus. "
Ranmoor- beautiful character cottage with walled garden and gorgeous views.<br>
10/10 Excellent
"Loved our stay at Ranmoor! Very high quality property with excellent beds, brilliantly equipped kitchen, gorgeous gardens in a very convenient yet quiet location. We ate at the Fish Pond pub - highly recommend the nasi goreng - and went to the Heights of Abraham, Cromford and walked locally across the hill to Matlock. This area has a real holiday feel about it. Very good communication with Petra, who left a bottle of delicious rosé and some biscuits for us. Thank you very much! Katie, Neil, Jean and Tilly the spaniel "
"Fantastic old property that has been sympathetically restored / converted with fantastic rooms. Brilliant breakfast and typical Peak District hospitality…..
Easy walk into the village too, where there’s shops and a couple of very good pubs too.
We stayed three nights and could easily have stayed longer….
Hell Yeah!"

The reason we booked this hotel was for the free parking!!! Luckily we got parked ok in the train station car park but had to pay £15 per car. In the afternoon however the car park soon fills up and people drive up and down looking for a space.
We’d stay here again due the location and the charm of the building. "
"Every thing was good thanks . But got lock out the hotel .there was contact number for someone to let you in . All you got was number to the main office. Luckily when to the boat inn and the manageress of the boat inn new someone staying that the greyhound hotel that let us in. Just need a direct number for help. Thank you "
