"The hotel looks a little tired from the outside but is well maintained and furnished inside. The room was very nice and big. We had a superior suite which had a massive double width bath and separate rooms we. We did find cob webs in the toilet and above the bath. The bed was a big round bed which turned out to be a bit hard and lumpy and when we pulled back the covers, the mattress itself was very heavily stained. The staff are friendly but don’t come across as very professional. They give the impression that they haven’t been in the hotel business very long. The breakfast was good but a little expensive and we had to choose what we wanted the day before which I didn’t like as there is no scope to change your mind. There is a small car park which was fine during our stay but may be be overcrowded when the hotel is full."

"Always a wonderful stay here in this gorgeous Georgian Hotel. Very happy to accept our mini dachshund who was able to sit with us at breakfast. Staff were friendly and hospitable as per usual. Always there for anything but not unobtrusive. My wife had a anti aging facial in the spa and felt incredibly relaxed afterwards. The Superior room was spacious and perfect for our 3 night stay. A special mention for the shower which was possibly the best I have had in the UK. Maybe its the waters in Matlock Bath. They do say they are rejuvenating."

Right from the beginning, the host’s instructions were spot on and really helpful, making check-in and our overall stay completely seamless.The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxed visit. A highlight for us was definitely the arcade machine—it was a huge hit and provided so much fun!We would definitely love to stay again and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway. "Perfect B&B. Sue and John were very welcoming and couldn't have done more for us. Room was very spacious and comfortable. It was well equipped with lots of attention to detaill. Everything was spotlessly clean in the room and the communal areas. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice . Only downside was the road which was a bit challenging but we got used to it!"

"We had a lovely 2night stay in the cottage. It had all the amenities needed, clean and tidy and clear instructions on how to use the facilities. It was lovely to have a bit of garden access as well. Cromford is a very cute quiet village and was a convenient location close to Matlock Baths and is well placed to get to other areas of the Peak District. We explored Matlock, Bakewell & Buxton and did some walks around Castleton and Thorpe Cloud/ Dovedale. We had a great stay. Wish we had discovered the local Bookshop/cafe a bit sooner, only had 10 minutes to explore it before it closed!"
