"Just an amazing gem, the property itself is an amazing estate with great staff and food - with the feel of a small boutique manor, it offers a nice luxurious retreat at a reasonable price, it was the highlight stay of our 16 day trip around the UK."
"This was a very nice place to stay. I enjoyed the closed in patio area and the breakfast was very delicious. The rooms were neat and the area was safe and quiet."
"Overall a fantastic stay. However as we are in our sixties and my husband is 6”5’ the hot tub was on the small side! The staff and food were incredible . Thankyou . "
"Been before and really central to everything although the accommodation has went down hill in my opinion. Bathroom didnt have a nice smell stained glass at bottom of shower door, toilet had yellow marks around rim of seat and around the fixings. Cant remember if they had a fridge last time we stayed but didnt this time and really needs one. 3 people staying and only 2 cups. Still had a lovely time overall."
"Absolutely lovely stay at New Bath Hotel. The staff were lovely very helpful. A bonus is the use of the lido. Very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay again."
"Room was a little tired just from wear and tear but was very nicely decorated, natural light, en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee in room. We had breakfast included and it was brilliant! The staff were friendly and helpful and the pub/ restaurant down stairs was really nice. "
"The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. Check-in was easy and, although we originally planned to stay for a couple of days, we were made so welcome, decided to stay for two more. Our day always started with an excellent and leisurely breakfast which really set us up...

"It was a good experience though it wasbjust for a night. Walking distance to heights if Abraham and town centre. Staff are so friendly and respectful. Even met someone from our hometown which was a bonus. "
Stunning Scandinavian Boutique Cottage Retreat with Rolling Countryside Views
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It was small but very comfortable and it had everything that we needed. We especially loved having the espresso machine and the instant hot water. The views from all the windows were outstanding. The local home owners that we met were very helpful and provided some tips on things that they recommended to do."

8/10 Good
"A really lovely place to stay. Was spotless and the stay was very comfortable. The only thing that i can fault was there are hidden charges. I was asked to pay 50 per person for the additional 2 beds 2 days before we go. Charges like this should be included at time of booking not just before your holiday. Especially when the details on the invoice stated all fees had been paid. Also the hot tub cost is confusing to me, with all the extra charges considering its there all the time."

"We were looking for a place large enough for 2 families, 4 in each family. The cottage was wonderful for us and had everything we needed. Hognaston is an incredibly charming village. Highly recommend!"
