"A lovely place to stay and we were in a quirky ground floor room in the old stable block which was very nice although susceptible to noise from adjoining rooms. The grounds are lovely to relax in and the food was very good (although avoid the poor, undercooked apple pie). Good breakfast. Three minor criticisms. There was no sink plug, there was no shelf in the bathroom to put your own toiletries on (we had to use the top of the radiator) and, like many hotels, in a double room there was only one chair !! However we will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone."

"We had a lovely 2night stay in the cottage. It had all the amenities needed, clean and tidy and clear instructions on how to use the facilities. It was lovely to have a bit of garden access as well. Cromford is a very cute quiet village and was a convenient location close to Matlock Baths and is well placed to get to other areas of the Peak District. We explored Matlock, Bakewell & Buxton and did some walks around Castleton and Thorpe Cloud/ Dovedale. We had a great stay. Wish we had discovered the local Bookshop/cafe a bit sooner, only had 10 minutes to explore it before it closed!"

"A cosy warm cottage. Bright & airy, with lovely modern decor throughout. Comfy beds, great shower/bath & plenty of hot water. The owners have thought of everything to make for a great stay. The cottage is located in a charming village with a great selection of independent shops, places to eat & a supermarket nearby. There are lots of places of interest to visit nearby. We had a really enjoyable stay & will definitely be back."
