"We had an amazing weekend for our anniversary! From the moment of booking I had great communication with the owners who were very responsive and accommodating. Our cottage was very comfy, cosy and clean. The facilities are amazing with dog paddocks, entertainments (pool table, football table, table tennis, board games, a great wide selection of dvds for the whole family, a kids corner with toys and books). Lots of personal touches (delicious homemade cake, handwritten note etc). We are already...

"The property if of the highest standard, clean, extremely well maintained and full of all the facilities you would expect and much more. Its only slight challenge is there is only one shower, two toilets and one bath which creates challenges in a morning when 6-8 people are all looking to get up and out all at the same time. Other than this challenge we would highly recommend the property."

Palace Hotel & Spa Buxton

Palace Hotel & Spa Buxton

8/10 Good
"The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when asking for additional pillows ( only 1 pp provided). The breakfast was good and tasty and plenty of attentive staff if needed. The hotel rooms however are very tired with very poor decor standards. Tiles in the bathroom were miss-matched and grubby and flooring lifting in places. Was surprised to have to pay £5 to park the car as a resident though"

Radisson Blu Hotel, Sheffield

Radisson Blu Hotel, Sheffield

10/10 Excellent
"We had a really lovely stay at the Radisson Blu Sheffield. The hotel is beautifully designed, very clean and the rooms are a great size. Check-in was really easy and the customer service throughout was excellent. We were also really impressed with the housekeeping team. We accidentally left some money behind in the room after checking out, and it was found, logged and we were contacted through the hotel’s lost-property system. It was very reassuring and says a lot about how trustworthy and professional the team are. The only issue we had was getting to the hotel and the parking. A number of the surrounding roads were closed, so finding the hotel initially was a bit of a challenge. We also had to take a longer route to get to the car park, which added around 10 minutes to the journey. Once parked though, the walk back to the hotel was only about five minutes, so it wasn’t too bad. Apart from that, we had no complaints at all. Great location, lovely hotel, spacious rooms and excellent service. We would definitely stay again."

"Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Well decorated, comfy twin room but disappointingly, in the annex. Not in the main hotel. IMO, on the expensive side. £500 2 x nights, especially as it was 'room only'. Also, hardly any parking on site. Forced to park in public car park.My fault. Should have paid more attention when booking."
