"We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!"

"We loved it here! We could see the ocean from our windows. The cabin was very spacious with ensuites in both bedrooms. The kitchen/living room was well laid out, with a washing machine included. We were able to walk to the ocean front and enjoy a walk along the beach "

If you're American and visiting relatives in the south of Ireland, then this quaint location would definitely win you over. If you're a 30-something couple looking for a romantic weekend away, then not so much. Killarney and Dingle are 40 mins in either direction though"

"Overall property and rooms were clean. Room and bathroom sizes are large. Carpets are clean but old . They could be replaced with hardwood or other materials. Otherwise excellent place to stay"

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is paying a huge amount of detail to Covid-19 guidelines. The value for money was great! Also a superb location. "
