"We had an excellent stay at HGB.The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent and definitely worth the price. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is not ideal, but not bad, either, and for the price it's worth walking a bit more to get to to where all the Bilbao action is."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and modern everywhere in the hotel and rooms. Breakfast was great quality and value for money. Staff extremely friendly. Location is a little further out of the old town that we would have liked but there is a metro station very near and the walk is only 30 mins. To use the spa is extra, but all the info was very clear when we booked. I would recommend and stay again."

"The location was great, close to the museum and old town. Even close to the metro if you wanted to visit other town. I recommend adding breakfast to your booking, as the food was very good, and you can ask the chef to make you a fresh omelette with everything in it. The fresh orange juice is heavenly. You’ll need an SD card with movies on it, because the only English Channels you get is the news. "

"Nice Hotel on the beach in Getxo, Bilbao. Excellent view from the room towards the beach. The restaurants were closed for renovation / change of owner and this meant no food was available in the hotel. There are restaurants close by and this covered up for this. "
