"The Alverton is a beautiful hotel The building is stunning. The hotel is just on the outskirts of Truro, but a short walk into town. The staff on reception - rhe two Amys - give a very warm welcome. The room was lovely and spacious My only gripe was the wedding party, who kept me awake on the first night. Breakfasts are delightful, cooked to order. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Definitely returning to the hotel as soon as possible."

"This ia an amazing place. From the minute we wallked in to the minite we left the levels of service was impeccable. Lovely rooms, Top class Spa and pools. Delicious breakfat with a great variety and excellent, friendly and professional staff who look to cater for your every need. I will definitely be back later in the summer. "

"We’ve stayed here a number of times when visiting Fowey. The rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated, the beds are really comfy the sea views are wonderful. Our room this time was suffering from some damp with the wallpaper peeling off a bit but it didn’t really detract from our stay. Breakfast is always lovely, although there was a very large loud group and perhaps it would be better if they were offered one end of the restaurant so the rest of us had a more relaxed experience! "The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. P.S. don't forget to say hello to the tortoise. "
